Where creative kids find their people.
Named Best Creative Arts Camp by Education Insider and a Top Summer Camp by New York Family, Med-o-lark is a sleepaway camp where creative, curious kids get to be exactly who they are.
The perfect first sleepaway camp
Med-o-lark offers four two-week sessions each summer. That's long enough for kids to make real friends and settle into camp life, and short enough to feel just right for first-timers (and their parents!).
Independence, the screen-free way
Phones and tablets stay home. Instead, campers learn to make their own choices, try new things, and build friendships face to face. Kids head home more confident, more independent, and bursting with stories.
Explore art, every day
Campers choose from a wide range of creative programs:
- Circus arts
- Ceramics and visual arts
- Theater and performing arts
- Digital arts
- Culinary arts
- Swimming and waterfront fun on the lake
Whether your child is a born performer or just wants to try something new, there's room to experiment and no pressure to be perfect.
Kindness comes first
Med-o-lark is built on a simple idea: everyone belongs. Our community is warm and inclusive, and kids cheer each other on, whether it's a first juggling trick or a first night away from home.
Beautiful Maine, easy to reach
Nestled among the woods and lakes of Washington, Maine, camp is about an hour from Portland. It's an easy drive or flight for families from across the U.S. and around the world.
Summer 2027 enrollment is open!
